Grand Champion Ken-Bear’s Herbie the Love Bug will be competing for Best in Breed at Pier 94, Ring 6 at 1:30 P.M. on Monday, February 11. You can watch our Old English Sheepdog live on your computer at www.westminsterkennelclub.org Herbie will be in a group of Old English sheepdogs who look similar. Look for number 19 on the armband of the handler, Cathy Drummonds.
If you can go to the show, Herbie will be waiting on his bench to greet you from 11-8 P.M. on Monday at Pier 94, Section B, Row 20. If he wins during the afternoon competition he will advance and compete with the Herding Group at Madison Square Garden on Monday evening. CNBC is televising the evening show from 8-11 P.M. If Herbie wins Herding Group he will compete on Tuesday evening for Best in Show, televised on the USA Network from 8-11 P.M.
This 137th Annual all-breed show is the most widely watched telecast of a dog show in the world. Herbie will need lots of support from all his friends since 2721 dogs have been entered, the largest entry field in 15 years. Competitors come from Canada, Brazil, Croatia, Germany, the UK, France, Japan, Mexico and all over the U.S.A.
